Computer generated images (renders) are great starting points for later development as a painting. The ability to create images at a speed that my hand and head cannot keep up with is something that still amazes me. Almost every day I try to create an image with the help of A.I. This is how I try to explore different ideas. Faster than a 3D computer program in making images. What a great time we live in technologically. It shouldn't get any crazier.

I am Douwe Leonard Dijkstra, an artist specializing in visual storytelling through mixed media. My creations blend painting, sculpture, and digital art, capturing emotions and evoking thought-provoking narratives.
My skill set includes various mediums, such as acrylic and oil paint, (digital) clay, 3D program Blender, A.I. and Photoshop, allowing me to bring my artistic visions to life. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity, I aim to engage and inspire audiences through my artistic approach.
